So, your financial situation has changed. You don’t know how your car note is going to get paid. Your mortgage/rent is past due. Lights are scheduled to be cut off. You gave your last dollar to loved ones and now YOU’RE in a bind.
You need groceries. Medical procedures are scheduled, payments are due and you have no insurance. You’re trying to keep the faith but you’re human. Well, I’m here to tell you that I’ve been where you are and you are right where God needs you. Matthew 6:25-34 tells us not to worry about our life because our Father knows what we need. We just have to remember that there’s a difference between a need and a want. Throughout my life, I always had a backup plan for a backup plan. When I parted ways with full-time radio, I had no idea what I was going to do because that was all I knew. I had been doing it since high school. I went to school for it. It was a stressful career but it came easy to me and it still does. The years that followed was a pruning process that was very uncomfortable but it was needed. During that time, I didn’t have a backup plan. I didn’t know if I was coming or going. I had no idea how I was going to make it so all I could do was cry and pray. LET ME SHOW YOU HOW GOD WORKS!! During those uncertain times, bills got paid. Food was always in my refrigerator and I had money for gas when I needed it. Yes, our Father has provided for me and my family when I KNOW it was no one but God. Today, I am doing my own thing and this time the Lord gets the glory. I have seen favor in all shapes and sizes over the past seven years and I am doing better mentally than I have ever been. And guess what? My bills are still getting paid. I still have food in my pantry and I now have something called peace. It was a process and it was a process I did not want to go through but I had to be put in a position where I had to lean on the Lord. I had to trust HIS plan because I was driving myself nuts. I never knew what was going to happen and it was very uncomfortable but I made it and I am doing better now than I ever have been. THAT is called God’s Grace and Favor and man (people) can’t give that to you. One more thing, make sure you read Matthew 6:25-34. You will be SO glad you did.
