Judith Cage, or Chef Judy as she is known to many, is an Army Veteran with
a passion for cooking and love for people. Her professional ambition and sense of community coupled with her hard work and entrepreneurial spirit have turned her passion and love into three North Carolina restaurants and three appearances on the Food Network; Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, and Restaurant Impossible.
Chef Judy found her delight for food while growing up in Chicago cooking for friends and siblings. She continually shares her skills in the kitchen, love of laughter, and desire to see others succeed in their dreams while accomplishing her own.
Judy is the proud owner of Let Me Cater to You catering company in Fayetteville, NC, as well as Chef Judy\'s Jaguar Grill in Smithfield, NC, Let Me Cater to You in Pope Army Air Field, NC, and Uptown’s Chicken and Waffles, in Fort Bragg, NC.
In addition to a restauranteur, you can find Chef Judy sharing her heart as a board member and volunteer chef at Let\'s Make It Happen Together, a Signature Chef at the North Carolina March of Dimes Chef Auction, a guest presenter teaching Cooking Classes to local high schools, or as the Manna Ministry Leader at True Vine Ministries. Chef Judy has given several inspirational speeches to high school students, women\'s groups, and veterans organizations. Judy had provided meals for homeless shelters and allowed her facilities to be used for outreach and community advancement. Anywhere you see her; it is evident that her childhood love has become her career path and purpose.
After joining the Military at the age of 17 and serving six years as a Food Service Specialist, she quickly made it through the ranks and trained and apprenticed under French Chefs, as well as Master Chefs on the U.S. Army Culinary Olympics Team. Chef Judy has cooked for Hotels, Restaurants, Golf Clubs, Retirement homes, as well as on College Campus’.
