Beats & Ballots: Where Community, Culture, and Civic Engagement Come Together
Looking for a fun way to connect with your community while learning more about the voting process? Make plans to join us for Beats & Ballots on Saturday, September 26, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Way 2 Real Community Center, 2400 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC.
Beats & Ballots was created to bring people together through music, entertainment, and information. It’s a welcoming space where community members can learn more about the voting process, get answers to their questions, and register to vote on-site.
The Fayetteville Chapter of the NAACP will be available throughout the event to assist eligible residents with voter registration and provide information about upcoming elections. Whether you’re registering for the first time or simply looking for trusted information, their team will be there to help.
But this event is about more than voter registration. It’s about celebrating community.
Attendees can enjoy live artist performances on The CR Auto Tint & Car Spa stage, music from DJ Cass, and a line dancing tutorial led by Stephanie Kiegler of Dancing Without Sin. Whether you come ready to dance, learn something new, or simply spend time with friends and neighbors, there will be something for everyone.
Already registered to vote? We encourage you to come out too! Beats & Ballots offers valuable information, meaningful community connections, and plenty of entertainment for all ages.
As part of our commitment to serving the community, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation. Your contribution, no matter how small, will help stock the food bank and provide much-needed support to individuals and families throughout our area.
While you’re there, take a tour of The Way 2 Real Community Center, a facility that has become a heartbeat of opportunity, education, and support in our community. From youth programs and educational opportunities to outreach initiatives and community resources, the center continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of local residents.
